Solution
Stomata:
There are the pores present in the leaves and green shoot of the plants.
It has a stomatal pore surrounded by two bean shaped guard cells which guard the opening and closing of pore.
The guard cells are surrounded by subsidiary cells.
The main function of stomata is transpiration:
The stomatas are responsible for the loss of water vapour through transpiration.
The guard cells of stomata also has chloroplast. So they are also involved in photosynthesis.
Stomata are also involved in exchange of gases involved in photosynthesis, i.e., oxygen and carbon dioxide.
