Human blood group:

  1. Humans have an ABO blood group system.
  2. In blood group A, the antigen present on the red blood cells is A antigen and the possible genotypes of blood group A are IA IA in homozygous condition and IA i in heterozygous condition.
  3. Whereas in the case of blood group B, the antigen B is present on the surface of red blood cells and the possible genotypes of blood group B are IB IB in homozygous condition and IB i in heterozygous condition.
