A motor is an electrical machine which converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. The principleof working of a DC motor is that "whenever a current carrying conductor is placed in a magnetic field, it experiences a mechanical force",So, when an insulated conductor coil is placed in a magnetic field and the current is passed through it, a force acts on the coil which rotates continuously and the direction of rotation of the loop is according to the Fleming’s left-hand rule.
