Registrar of Companies a government official whose job is to keep detailed records about all limited companies (those whose owners only have to pay a limited amount if the company gets into debt.
The Registrar of Companies (ROC) is an office under the Indian Ministry of Corporate Affairs that deals with administration of the Companies Act 1956 andCompanies Act, 2013. There are currently 22 Registrars of Companies (ROC) operating from offices in all major states of India.
MCA regulates corporate affairs in India through the Companies Act, 1956, 2013 and other allied Acts, Bills and Rules. MCA also protects investors and offers many important services to stakeholders.
