Dear student,
In Akbar's administration, the powers were centralised. Akbar had the final authority over all important matters including politics, military, administrative and judiciary. All the decisions taken by him were final and could not be challenged by anyone. Akbar used to hold meetings with his ministers and senior officials in Diwan-i-Khas. Akbar has also appointed council of ministers who advised him on administrative issues. Thus, we can say that Akbar maintained a highly centralised administrative system.
