The lower level of management comprise supervisors, team leaders, foremen, etc. They basically get the plans implemented and get the work done through employees or workers. The following are the functions of the lower-level management:
i. They act as a link between the middle- management and the workforce.
ii. They assign tasks to the workers and subordinates and supervise them.
iii. They ensure that the tasks are carried out as per the plans and policies.
iv. They help workers solve problems and disputes, if any.
v. They ensure the smooth functioning of machines, tools and equipment.
