Write short notes on B-cells.

B-cells are one of the type of the lymphocytes. Lymphocytes are the type of the white blood cells. These are one of the important cells which play role in the immune system. There are many different types of B-cells. They play important role in providing humoral immunity. There are plasma cells which are modified B-cells. These cells are responsible for the production of antibodies after the recognition of the antigens. There are memory cells which remember the type of antigen and the antibody which is produced against it. This helps in the stimulation of the plasma cells on the second encounter of the same pathogen. There are other cell types which are involved in immune reactions.
