The following are some of the basic features of employment:
i. Easy commencement: Employment commences as soon as the appointment letter and the service agreement are signed by the employee.

ii. No capital required: The amount of capital required to enter into a service or employment is nil.

iii. Code of conduct: It is compulsory for every employee to follow the rules and regulations prescribed by the employer of the company.

iv. No job transfer: Employment cannot be transferred from one person to another or from one organisation to another.
