  • Oxygen is the lifeline of all living organisms.
  • It helps in burning.
  • It is used in hospitals to support life of those patients who are not able to take breaths properly.

Uses of Nitrogen (N) are as follows:

  • Nitrogen is used to give the unreactive atmosphere.
  • Living organisms require nitrogen for protein formation.
  • Nitrogen is used in the manufacturing of many chemicals in industries.

The uses of Carbon dioxide (CO2) are as follows:

  • Carbon dioxide is important for the photosynthesis process(preparation of food by plants).
  • It is also required in the atmosphere to maintain the earth's temperature normal for living organisms.
  • It maintains the pH level of a human being.
