The function of carrying out urine from the kidney to the urinary bladder is performed by the ureter.
There are two ureters one hooked up to each kidney.
The upper half of the ureter is situated in the abdomen and the lower half is located in the pelvic area.
The ureter is about 10-12 inches long in size.
URETER: The canal may be a little tube, or duct, that connects the bladder and kidneys. Water passes through the canal from the kidneys to the bladder.
