Aldehydes and Ketones form alcohol with Grignard reagent. As the secondary alchohol formed with a 3-carbon chained. So, A is propanol.
2-butanol is a secondary alcohol and on dehydration with sulphuric acid forms forms trans-2-butene.
Butene on reaction with Bromine gives 2,3 dibromo butane.
This forms 2-bromo but-2-ene on reaction with alchoholic KOH.
