The absolute value of a number is the distance of that number from 0 without taking its direction into consideration

For Example -7 and 7 has the same absolute value which is 7, we neglect the sign of the number, or we can say absolute value is always positive.

We need to find the absolute value of a number which is already using an absolute value symbol.

We need to calculate --6,

Step 1 : Calculate absolute value of -6

-6 which is equal to 6

--6 is equal to -6

Step 2 : Now calculate the absolute value of the result in the previous step

-6 which is equal to 6

Hence Absolute value of --6 is 6.
