1. Acidic radical

The negatively charged radicals or ions are called acidic radicals

2. Basic radical

The positively charged radicals or ions are called basic radicals.

3. Sodium chloride salt

Sodium chloride (NaCl) is the salt and is formed from an anion Cl- and Na+ cation.

The anion is the Chloride anion and the cation is the Sodium cation.

Hence, Cl- is an acidic radical and Na+ is the basic radical.
