(a) Some organ systems in the human body are the digestive system, respiratory system, excretory system and the circulatory system.

(b) Some organs of the digestive system are the tongue, stomach, small intestine, liver, pancreas and large intestine.

(c) Salivary glands are present inside the mouth and they secrete saliva.

(d) The small intestine secretes intestinal juice and it receives bile juice from the liver, and pancreatic juice from the pancreas. These juices carry out the complete digestion of all food components including carbohydrates, fats and proteins.

(e) Organs which help in the function of respiration are:

• Nose

• Lungs

• Trachea

• Bronchi

• Alveoli

• Diaphragm
