Reaction between dilute Nitric acid and Copper carbonate:

  • Nitric acid reacts with carbonate and bicarbonates of metal to form salt, water, and Carbon dioxide.
  • When Dilute Nitric Acid reacts with Copper carbonate, it will give Copper nitrate, water, and Carbon dioxide gas as products.
