Reaction between Ferric hydroxide and Nitric acid:

• Nitric acid reacts with basic metal hydroxides to form their respective nitrates.
• When Ferric hydroxide $\left(\mathrm{Fe}{\left(\mathrm{OH}\right)}_3\right)$ reacts with Nitric Acid $\left({\mathrm{HNO}}_3\right)$, it will give Ferric nitrate $\left(\mathrm{Fe}{\left({\mathrm{NO}}_3\right)}_3\right)$ and water as a product.
• Since salt and water is produced in this reaction. So, this reaction is an example of neutralization reaction.
