LPG: LPG or Liquified Petroleum Gas is the component of petroleum gas liquified under pressure.

The following reasons make LPG a better domestic fuel.

1. The burning of LPG is accompanied by blue smokeless flame and is ashless. It is a clean fuel as it does not lead to any pollution.
2. The burning of 1 g of LPG releases 50 kJ of energy which is a higher cost per unit of heat energy released than any other fuel.
3. The ignition of LPG is almost instantaneous, and it is also easy to handle.
