Circle is passing through A(0, 0), B(4, 0) and (0, -6)
Let equation of circle be,
(xh)2+(yk)2=r2 (i)
circle (1) is passing through
A(0,0)(0h)2+(0k)2=r2h2+k2=r2 (2)
circle (1) is passing through B(4, 0)
(4h)2+(0k)2=r2(4h)2+k2=r2 (3)
circle (1) is passing through B(0, -6)
(0h)2+(6k)2=r2h2+(6+k2)=r2 (4)[(2)(3)],h2(4h)2=0(h4+h)(h+4h)=0(2h4)(4)=0h=2[(2)(4)],k2(6+k)2=0(k4k)(k+6+k)=0(6)(2k+6)=0k=3
Put the value of h and k in equation (1)
h2+k2=r2(2)2+(3)2=r2r2=13
Centre of the circle =(2, -3)
