Base Alkali
Base - Those substances which release hydroxide ions OH^- in the solution is known as Base
All the alkalies are base.
They are both water-soluble and insoluble.
Some Examples are- $N a O H, C a {(O H)}_{2}, C u {(O H)}_{2}$
Alkali- Those bases which are water-soluble are known as Alkali.
But all bases are not alkali.
They are only water-soluble.
Examples are- $N a O H, K O H$
