Solution

Answer:

In the manner by which they get exfoliated, exfoliation domes and exfoliation tors varies. The difference between the exfoliation domes and exfoliated tors are tabulated below.

Exfoliation domes

Exfoliated tors

The outer layers of the rock are exposed to constant erosion in the case of an exfoliation dome.

Exfoliation tor is created due to a massive difference in temperature. The numerous minerals of the outer layer of the internal movement are caused by this diurnal change in temperature.

It results in a vertical pressure release.

More than the internal ones, the outer layers expand.

Fractures are developed as the upper layer of the rocks vertically disintegrates from the original rock. The massive sheet recognized as the exfoliation dome is therefore established

As a consequence, this uneven expansion and contraction contributes to fractures that gradually form the exfoliation tor, separating the outer layer.
