A motion repeating itself at regular intervals is regarded as periodic motion.	A motion that repeats itself is considered a non-periodic motion but not at regular periods of time.
Motion of earth around the sun is an example of periodic motion.	The motion of a cricket ball hit by a batter is an example of non periodic motion since the motion of the ball doesn’t get repeated.
Since it completes one revolution in 365 days and motion is repeated after every 365 days.	Since the motion of the ball doesn’t get repeated.
