Solution

(i) Line PQ is parallel to X-axis and is at a distance of 3.5 units from X-axis in the positive direction of Y-axis.
Therefore equation of PQ is y = 3.5.

(ii) Line RS is parallel to Y-axis and is at a distance of 6 units from Y-axis in the positive direction of X-axis.
Therefore equation of RS is x = 6.

(iii) Line CD is parallel to Y-axis and is at a distance of 3 units from Y-axis in the negative direction of X-axis.
Therefore equation of CD is x = - 3.

(iv) Line MN is parallel to X-axis and is at a distance of 5 units from X-axis in the negative direction of Y-axis.
Therefore equation of MN is y = -5.

(v) Line X'X is X-axis.
And the equation of X-axis is y = 0.
Therefore equation of X'X is y = 0.

(vi) Line YY' is Y-axis.
And the equation of Y-axis is x = 0.
Therefore equation of YY' is x = 0.
