Equivalent fraction, $=\frac{\text{No. of shaded boxes}}{\text{Total no. of boxes.}}=\frac{6}{15}$

In fig (2),

Total no. of boxes $=5$

No. of shaded boxes $=2$

Equivalent fraction, $=\frac{\text{No. of shaded boxes}}{\text{Total no. of boxes.}}=\frac{2}{5}$

$\therefore \frac{6}{15}=\frac{2}{5}$
