Solution

Given number: 30

A composite number is a number which has at least one factor other than 1 and itself.

We know that all the numbers that divide a number completely, i.e., without leaving any remainder are called factors of that number.

Here, factors of 30: 1,2,3,5,6,10,15,30.

And also 30 has a factors other than 1 and itself.

Hence, 30 is a composite number.
