$= \frac{9}{2}$ (converting mixed fraction into improper fraction)

$= \frac{45}{10} = \frac{40 + 5}{10}$
$= \frac{4 / 0}{1 / 0} + \frac{5}{10}$ (dividing numerator and denominator by 10)
