Solution

1) $2 x^{2} = 5 x - 6$

$2 x^{2} - 5 x + 6 = 0$

Comparing with $a x^{2} + b x + c = 0$ , we get,

$a = 2, b = - 5$ & $c = 6$

2) $x (x + 2) = 5$

$x^{2} + 2 x - 5 = 0$

Comparing with $a x^{2} + b x + c = 0$ , we get,

$a = 1, b = 2, c = - 5$ .
