A terminating decimal, is a decimal that has an end.

A non-terminating decimal is defined as a decimal number that does not have an endpoint in its decimal digit and keeps repeating forever.

On simple division we get ,

54100 =0.54

Hence, the decimal form of 54100 is 0.54 and the decimal expansion is terminating.
