Write the following ratios in ascending order $4:3,7:10,4:7$

Now we have to write them in ascending order

$4:3=\frac{4}{3},7:10=\frac{7}{10},4:7=\frac{4}{7}$

Converting each of them into a like fraction

i.e. LCM of $3,10,and7is210$

So, $\frac{4}{3}=\frac{4\times 70}{3\times 70}=\frac{280}{210}$, $\frac{7}{10}=\frac{7\times 21}{10\times 21}=\frac{147}{210}$, and $\frac{4}{7}=\frac{4\times 30}{7\times 30}=\frac{120}{210}$

Now, in ascending order $120<147<280$

So, $\frac{120}{210}<\frac{147}{210}<\frac{280}{210}$ i.e- $\frac{4}{7}<\frac{7}{10}<\frac{4}{3}$

Hence in ascending order the correct form is $4:7<7:10<4:3$.
