Bismarck was the greatest ruler of Germany. During his reign Germany rose to the greatest heights.

  • He implemented compulsory military education and to keep boundary of Germany safe he started producing arms and ammunition.
  • After defeating Austria in 1866, he maintained peace with Austria.
  • In 1871, Germany captured Alsace and Lorraine from France and ensured that France should remain isolated and no power country is on support of France
  • Thus with his great thinking he maintained Germany in a great position and self-reliable.
