Bismarck
was the greatest ruler of Germany. During his reign Germany rose to the greatest heights.
He implemented compulsory military education and to keep boundary of Germany safe he started producing arms and ammunition.
After defeating Austria in 1866, he maintained peace with Austria.
In 1871, Germany captured Alsace and Lorraine from France and ensured that France should remain isolated and no power country is on support of France
Thus with his great thinking he maintained Germany in a great position and self-reliable.
