An expression that consist of two terms is known as binomial.

An expression that contains three terms is known as trinomial.

The square of x is,

x2

The cube of z is,

z3

Now, algebraic expression for the sum of square of x and cube of z is,

x2+z3

Identify the above expression as monomial, binomial or trinomial.

The obtained expression consist of two terms, so it is a binomial.

Therefore, the obtained expression is x2+z3 and it is a binomial.
