Two consecutive odd numbers do not have any common factor other than 1

Lets take an example of two consecutive odd numbers and find their HCF, let the numbers be 25,27

Prime Factor of 25 is 5Prime Factor of 27 is 3

So we can clearly see that there is no common factor other than 1

hence the HCF of two consecutive odd numbers is always 1
