In the first generation, the female is carrier and male in unaffected, they have two affected males and a carrier daughter. This is an X-linked recessive inheritance pattern as the males in second generation are all affected because they have received the faulty X-chromosome from the mother. Further, The carrier female is married with a normal male again and the same pattern is observed. Besides, the affected male married to the unaffected female has only a carrier daughter. Hence, the mode of inheritance is X-linked recessive, for example hemophilia.
