The image describes the unipolar neuron. These neurons are also known as the pseudounipolar neuron. It has one cell body and one long extension of the axon. The cell body has attached to the fibres in such a way that it appears the cell body is placed in the middle of the axon. One end of the neuron is present in the receptive organ and the other end of the brain or the spinal cord. The neuron acts as the sensory neurons which carry the impulse from organ to CNS.
