The stamen of the flower represents as the male reproductive part. It has two parts called filament and anther. The microsporangia of anther developed and become pollen sacs. They extend longitudinally all through the length of anther and are packed with pollen grains. These are male gametocytes. The gynoecium represents as the female reproductive part. The gynoecium consists of a pistil. The basal bulged part of the pistil is called ovary which consists of ova. The parts of the flower which serve like reproductive organs in an animal are;
Testis-stamen
Sperms-pollen grains
Ovary-ovary
Egg-ovum
