    1. Thyroxine (T4): This hormone is responsible for maintaining the temperature of the body. It also plays a crucial role in growth and development.
    2. Calcitonin (Thyrocalcitonin): This is a protein hormone and it is responsible for the maintenance of calcium and phosphorous in the body.
