2. Bread- Saccharomyces cerevisiae which ferments the sugar to produce alcohol and bubbles of carbon dioxide which makes the bread fluffy.

3. Root nodules of leguminous plants- Rhizobium which helps in nitrogen- fixation.

4. Idli /dosa- Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Lactobacillus fermentum are responsible for souring and leavening of the batter.

5. Spoiled ptato curry- Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis cause spoilage of potato as they have the abilities to produce enzymes that are capable of degrading the tissues.
