CaOCl2 is the chemical formula of calcium oxychloride which is commonly known as bleaching powder. It is prepared by the reaction of chlorine gas with calcium hydroxide (slaked lime). The reaction involved is given below.
Ca(OH)2(aq)+Cl2(g)→CaOCl2(aq)+H2O(l)
