Given quadratic equation is $x^{2} - 3 x = - 5$ should be of the form $a x^{2} + b x + c = 0$ .
Adding $5$ on both the sides,
$\Rightarrow x^{2} - 3 x + 5 = - 5 + 5$
$\Rightarrow x^{2} - 3 x + 5 = 0$
