Solution

Take two beakers one containing HCl acid and the other containing hydrogen but its not an acid for ex., alcohol. In this solution, now two nails are connected on a cork and they are connected with 6 V battery. Switch on this battery, a bulb in the circuit containing HCl is glowing whereas alcohol does not. This shows that acid gets dissociated as H+ and Cl- ions, and these ions are responsible for the conductance and alcohol does not. So all acid has hydrogen and all hydrogen containing compounds are not acid.
