Solution

Step-1: Finding smallest 8-digit number using all odd digits in words in Indian system:
Odd digits are 1,3,5,7,9.

Now, while forming the smallest number, arrange the digits in ascending order and if repetition of digit is allowed, repeat the smallest digit.

So, 1,11,13,579 is the smallest 8-digit number using all odd digits.

Thus, the number 1,11,13,579 in words can be expressed as One crore eleven lakh thirteen thousand five hundred seventy-nine.

Step-2: Finding the successor in expanded form:

Successor of a number is the number right after it and is obtained by adding 1 to the number.

Successor of 1,11,13,579 is 1,11,13,580.

Thus, the expanded form of 1,11,13,580 is:

1×1,00,00,000+1×10,00,000+1×1,00,000+1×10,000+3×1,000+5×100+8×10+0×1.

Hence, 8-digit number is 1,11,13,579 and succesor in expanded form is 1×1,00,00,000+1×10,00,000+1×1,00,000+1×10,000+3×1,000+5×100+8×10+0×1.
