Solution

We know that a number is divisible by 3 if the sum of all digits is divisible by 3.

4 + 7 + 6 +8+ 5 + 2 = 32, which is divisible by 3.

Therefore, Smallest digit: 1 (1 is the smallest digit which will not change the sum as the sum is already divisible by 3)
So, the number formed is 4768502.
Sum of the digits = 4 + 7 + 6 + 8+5 + 1 + 2 = 33 [33 is divisible by 3]
(1.5 Mark)

Also, Largest digit: 9
So, the number formed is 476592.
Sum of the digits = = 4 + 7 + 6 + 8+5 + 7 + 2 = 39 [39 is divisible by 3]
(1.5 Mark)
