Finding the required numbers:

Prime Numbers: The numbers which have only two factors, 1 and itself are called Prime Numbers

For e.g. 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29 etc

Hence, the smallest prime number is 2

Composite Number:A number having more than two factors is known as Composite Numbers.

For example: 4,6,8,9,12,14,15,16,18 etc.

1 is neither prime nor composite number.

2 and 3 are prime numbers.

4 has three factors which are 1,2,4.

Hence, the smallest composite number is 4

Hence, the smallest prime and composite number are 2 and 4.
