Solution
Yeast is a unicellular organism that belongs to the kingdom Fungi.
Yeasts reproduce asexually by a process called budding.
Steps involved in the process of budding are:
1) A small bud-like structure forms on the parent cell.
2) The nucleus of the parent cell splits into a daughter nucleus and moves into the daughter cell.
3) The bud detaches from the parent’s body to grow as a new individual or, this process of b
udding is repeated to form a chain of buds.
