1) but-1-ene
$C H_{2} = C H - C H_{2} - C H_{3} O_{3} - ---- \to Z n / H_{2} O C H_{2} O + C H_{3} - C H_{2} - C H O$
ii) but-2-ene
$C H_{3} - C H = C H - C H_{3} O_{3} - ---- \to Z n / H_{2} O 2 C H_{3} - C H O$
On ozonolysis of But-1-ene followed by the hydrolysis, we get formaldehyde and acetaldehyde as a product.
Whereas on ozonolysis of but-2-ene followed by hydration we get acetaldehyde as a product.
