Write the structures of two oxyacids of halogens.

In oxyacids of halogens, the focal halogen is $s{p}^3$ hybridised. There can be hypohalous acids, halous acids, halic acids and perhalic acids.

$i.$ Structure of hypohalous acids $H-O-X$ oxidation state of $X$ is $+1$. Eg. Hypochlorous acid $HOCl$ see the figure i.

$ii.$ Structure of halous acid, $H-O-X⟶O$ Oxidation state of $X$ is $+3$. Eg. Chlorous acid $\left(HOClO\right)$, see the figure ii.
