Write the structures of two oxyacids of halogens.

In oxyacids of halogens, the focal halogen is sp3 hybridised. There can be hypohalous acids, halous acids, halic acids and perhalic acids.
i. Structure of hypohalous acids HOX oxidation state of X is +1. Eg. Hypochlorous acid HOCl see the figure i.
ii. Structure of halous acid, HOXO Oxidation state of X is +3. Eg. Chlorous acid (HOClO), see the figure ii.
