We know that, two angles are said to be supplementary if their sum is ${180}^{\circ }$.

Let, supplement angle of $({20}^{\circ }+y^{\circ })$ be $x^{\circ }$.

$\therefore x^{\circ }+({20}^{\circ }+y^{\circ })={180}^{\circ }$

$\Rightarrow x^{\circ }={180}^{\circ }-({20}^{\circ }+y^{\circ })$

$\Rightarrow x^{\circ }={180}^{\circ }-{20}^{\circ }-y^{\circ }$

$\Rightarrow x^{\circ }=({160}^{\circ }-y^{\circ })$

$\therefore x^{\circ }=(160-y{)}^{\circ }$

Hence, supplementary angle of $({20}^{\circ }+y^{\circ })$ is $(160-y{)}^{\circ }$.
