Write the three main events of photosynthesis and it is different in desert plants

The three events that occur during the process of photosynthesis are as follows:

1. Absorption of light energy by chlorophyll.
2. Conversion of light energy to chemical energy and splitting of water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen.
3. Reduction of carbon dioxide to carbohydrates.

During night, desert plants absorb carbon dioxide and form an intermediate. Then during day they use this stored carbon dioxide to perform photosynthesis.
