A rainbow is phenomenon caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky.
Rainbow is caused by the reflection , refraction and dispersion of sunlight after the rain as the water droplets in the atmosphere reflects ,refracts and disperses the light rays from the sun resulting the spectrum of light appearing in the sky .It takes the form of multi colour arc which is known as the rainbow .Rainbow caused by the sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite to the sun .
