(4,0) compare the point with (x,y) then y-coordinate is 0.

For point c)

(2,7) compare the point with (x,y) then y-coordinate is 7.

Hence, the y-coordinate (ordinate) of each of the given points (3,5), (4,0), and (2,7) is “5,0,and7”.
