Solution
An electric motor is an electrical machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. The reverse of this would be the conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy and is done by an electric generator.
In motors current has to be supplied to armature windings and In generators current is produced in armature windings.
Motors (generally a moving charge in a magnetic field) obey the Fleming's left hand rule, while the generator obeys Fleming's right hand rule.
